The modern home is partly original and partly addition, both spaces were linked by a corridor yet defined by a courtyard. The original part of the modern architecture fronts a charming streetscape that was rebuilt complementing its Art Deco architecture. The addition, which contained the living areas, has been designed to function as a façade to the rear street and as a sculptural form to the “would-be” garden. Constructed through a series of dynamic and flexible volumes, which are oriented to capture abundant natural light to the interiors, the new work demonstrates a work of art.
